We are a group of divers who go on Dive Trips to the warm waters of the world. The trips may include liveaboard cruises, resort stays or a combination of both.

I, Caroline Boysen, organise and coordinate these trips and handle the administration. By booking and joining a Caroline on Tour trip, each participant accepts the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Jurisdiction
The applicable jurisdiction shall be that of the country in which the booked trip or the principal travel service takes place.

2. Travel Arrangements
Unless expressly included in the offer, travel to and from the destination, resort, airport, harbour or other agreed meeting point, including flights and transfers, must be arranged by the participants themselves.

3. Booking and Contract
A booking becomes binding upon acceptance of a written, electronic, telephone or personal booking.

If one person makes a booking on behalf of several participants, that person is responsible for ensuring that all participants are informed of and accept these Terms and Conditions. The booking party is also responsible for the contractual obligations of all participants included in the booking, in particular payment of the agreed travel price.

4. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Each participant is responsible for ensuring that all passport, visa, immigration, customs, vaccination, health and other entry requirements applicable to the destination are met.

As regulations may change at short notice, participants should check the current requirements with the relevant authorities or embassy before travelling.

Caroline on Tour accepts no liability if a participant is refused entry, delayed or unable to join the trip due to missing or invalid documents or failure to comply with applicable regulations.

Participants are responsible for arriving at the agreed meeting point on time. Boats, transfers or other scheduled services may not be able to wait for delayed participants, and it may not be possible to join a trip after departure. Any additional costs resulting from a late arrival are the responsibility of the participant.

5. Prices
The prices and any additional costs applicable to each trip are stated in the respective Caroline on Tour offer or booking information.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are per person and quoted in Euro (EUR) and/or Swiss Francs (CHF).

Information published independently by third parties, including service providers, booking platforms, travel agents or other websites, does not form part of the agreement with Caroline on Tour.

6. Payment Terms
The payment and cancellation conditions applicable to the respective trip, operator, resort or service provider apply and will be communicated with the booking.

7. Liability
The operation of boats, resorts, dive centres, transfers and other local services is the responsibility of the respective service provider. Their applicable terms and conditions may therefore also apply.

Caroline on Tour cannot be held responsible for changes, delays, cancellations or additional costs resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to flight delays or cancellations, weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, governmental measures, technical problems, political unrest or actions of third parties.

Caroline on Tour accepts no liability for consequential costs such as lost wages, missed or additional flights, accommodation or other expenses arising from such circumstances.

8. Insurance
Participants are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance, including trip cancellation and interruption insurance, accident insurance and cover for luggage and diving equipment.

Valid diving accident insurance, such as DAN, Aqua Med or equivalent cover, is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for individual trips or operators.

Caroline on Tour accepts no liability for loss of or damage to luggage or diving equipment during transport or during the trip, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Diving Activities and Participant Responsibility
Diving activities are conducted by the respective dive operator in accordance with its procedures, applicable local regulations and recognised diving standards.

Participants must have the appropriate diving qualification and sufficient experience for the dives they undertake and must follow the instructions of dive guides, instructors, boat crews and other responsible staff.

Participation in diving activities requires appropriate physical and mental fitness. Participants are responsible for determining their own fitness to dive and should obtain medical advice or examination where appropriate.

The local dive operator, instructor or dive guide may modify or restrict a participant’s diving activities if their certification, experience, fitness, behaviour or prevailing conditions make this necessary for safety reasons. Such a decision does not automatically entitle the participant to reimbursement.

Participants undertake diving and other activities at their own risk within the limits permitted by applicable law and are responsible for complying with all applicable safety regulations.

Participants are responsible for loss of or damage to rented diving equipment or other property caused by them.

Cabin and room arrangements depend on the individual trip and the category booked. Shared accommodation may be allocated with another participant where stated in the respective offer. Single occupancy may be available on request and may be subject to an additional charge.

10. Changes to the Itinerary or Services
Caroline on Tour and/or the respective operator reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary or individual services where unforeseen circumstances make this necessary.

This may include changes to dive sites, routes, accommodation, transport, schedules or other arrangements.

If a trip or part of a trip cannot be operated due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, technical problems, governmental restrictions, political unrest, armed conflict or strikes, reasonable efforts will be made together with the relevant service providers to find a suitable alternative where possible.

11. Personal Data
By making a booking, participants confirm that the personal information they provide is correct.

Personal data will be processed insofar as necessary to organise and provide the booked services and may be forwarded to relevant third parties such as dive operators, liveaboards, resorts, airlines, transfer companies or authorities where required for the organisation and operation of the trip.
